National education day is a day celebrated in India on 11th of November every year. It is a day on which they celebrate the birth anniversary of Maulana Abdul Kalam Azad, he was the first education minister of independent India who served from 15th August 1947 till 2nd of February 1958.

The Ministry of Human Resources Development announced on 11th September 2008 that, “The Ministry has decided to memorialize the birthday of this great son of India by recalling his contribution to the cause of education in India. November 11 every year, from 2008 onwards, will be celebrated as the National Education Day, without declaring it a holiday. “All institutions India celebrate this day by having seminars, education competitions, essay-writing, etc. In schools and colleges, students can prepare National Education day speeches.

National education day history

 As we talk about National education day history, Maulana Azad contributed to the formation of India along with the many leaders. But his biggest contribution to India has been the gift of Education. He was invited in 1920 and elected as a member of the foundation committee of Jamia Millia Islamia at Aligarh in Uttar Pradesh. In 1934 he assisted in the shifting of the campus of Jamia Millia Islamia to New Delhi.

In schools and colleges we can have National education day themes for the students to make it more fun and interesting for the students, we can have educational quizzes and competitions for the students which will make them get interested in this and fun too. Importance of education

Nowadays all kids do is just sit at home and use electronic media and social media which are not good for their eyes and brain. These things can also be used for educational purposes but all kids do is play games all day this makes their eyesight weak. Kids can have education through all these electronic media and learn something there are a lot of educational games that you can download for free of cost for your children.

Role of education in our daily lives

Every day you can learn something new there is no limit. If you’re old that doesn’t mean you can’t have an education there is no age for education, you just need to have faith in yourself there are a lot of examples of people out there who wanted an education and succeeded in that if you know about Hellen Keller, well she was deaf and blind but she wanted to learn, she wanted to have the education and Hellen Keller was the first deaf-blind person to earn a Bachelor of arts degree. This is a perfect example for you to know that if you need education nothing can stop you not even if you are deaf and blind.

Nowadays students are very confused to choose their field of education and due to that, some choose the wrong field which in the future is not good for them. All you need to do is look for all the fields you can go for and see in which field you will fit in and in which thing you’re good at, once you have chosen the right field you will succeed in that.

Education not only helps people to get knowledge and information about things but it also grooms you, teaches you manners and tells you the way of living. It also gives people the confidence to talk in front of anyone without hesitation. With the power of education, you can talk or stand in front of anyone without any problem.

There are a lot of people out there who fail every day but that doesn’t mean that we should quit, we should try again, failing doesn’t mean you can’t do it again but it is an opportunity to perform better at that thing. No matter how many times you fail just try again and one day you will succeed. Failing is just another word for growing.
